Howdy all,
I checked-out this plug-in once I saw the deal Plug-In Boutique had: the program was $1.00 USD.
Went to check out on-line reviews and thought it would be a nice addition to my DAW.
Ok...so I do the download, extract the Zip and like I've done with numerous other VSTs and software, etc, place it into my folder for use in Studio One 2 Pro. Well, the dang plug-in seems not to work or install properly. I know it has that blasted ILok nonsense, but even when activated for my PC, Xpand!2 doesn't work. I've un-installed, re-installed, three times, checked everything over and still I can't figure out why I only get empty folders - ZERO content! Anyone out there who has success with Xpand!2 in PreSonus? I'd like to have the detailed steps that are involved, because something is being overlooked or on being loaded properly. Only problem like this I've ever had.

Not sure what is going on at your system, but I can say it works as expected here on Studio One 2 and 3 Pro.
Was the content properly installed?
It's a 1.5GB file called Xpand2.big and installed by default in %PROGRAMDATA%Xpand!2

I previously had similar trouble with a few plugins from AIR Music Tech (it WAS worth the trouble, once I got things working).
What seemed to solve the problem was unzipping all of the files into my VST folder. Unzipping anywhere else seemed to case chaos.

Thanks bro .... that was the key, to unzip into the VSTplugin folder and launch the install from there.... for me, it then complained about not finding the .BIG file.... but I copied it to where it was expecting it and then it worked...
BUT - it is unbelievable that there are still software manufacturers who can not write an install procedure for their product even in 2017 -- AIR really sucks for that ! just incredible....

Yeah AIR Music Tech has a lot of cool plugins, but LOTS of people have all sorts trouble downloading and installing the software. The company was acquired by a company called InMusic in 2012, I think. Who knows how that affected how they operate. So I hope they find a way to make their install procedures better- they have some very cool stuff. Shame that they're probably losing a good deal of business because of the issues.

i have same problem so i guess i have to put the expand2 big file in what folder to make it show up >? never had a problem before oh im running win 10 the crappy upgrade from win 7 and i have studio one 4 professional any help would be great
